Kea Parish Council is responsible for personal information collected through this website. We only use information for the purpose for which it was provided, or where there is another lawful reason for us to use it.
If you contact the Council through the website, your name, email address and the contents of your message will be used to respond to and manage your enquiry. Information may be shared with Parish Councillors, Council officers or service providers where this is reasonably necessary to deal with the matter. Contact-form enquiries are normally deleted six months after the enquiry is resolved unless there is a legal, statutory or administrative reason to retain them for longer.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. You may have rights in relation to your personal data, including rights of access, correction and, in some circumstances, erasure or restriction. If you have a question about how the Council uses your information, please contact the Parish Clerk. You can also raise a data-protection concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Kea Parish Council uses Google Analytics to collect aggregate statistical information about how this website is used so that we can understand which pages and services are useful and improve the website. Google Analytics is configured for website statistics only: we do not use Google Signals, User-ID, remarketing or advertising personalisation as part of this setup.
For this limited analytics use, the Council relies on the statistical purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations where its conditions are met. This means prior consent is not required for that statistical use, but you have a simple right to object. Use the Analytics settings control on the website at any time to object or change your preference. If you object, Google Analytics will not be loaded on subsequent pages and accessible Google Analytics cookies are removed.
