About the woodland path
The woodland path at Playing Place runs from the rear of Kea Community Centre to Old Coach Road, providing a useful walking route through the local woodland.
Kea Parish Council has been working to protect public access to the route by seeking its addition to Cornwall Council’s Definitive Map of public rights of way. The route runs between Kea Community Centre and Old Coach Road.
As part of the Definitive Map Modification Order process, the Council has previously asked people who have regularly used the path to provide evidence of their use. The purpose of the application is to help ensure that the route remains accessible to the public in the future.
The Council also has an ongoing interest in the management of local woodland and footpaths, with councillors and volunteers helping to support environmental and access projects across the parish.
