About the Playing Park
Kea Parish Council is responsible for the play and recreation facilities at Playing Place, which include a children’s play area, multi-use games area (MUGA) and skate bowl.
The Council carries out regular maintenance and responds to issues identified through inspections and feedback from residents. Previous work has included repairs to play equipment, improvements to paths and access, replacement swing equipment and maintenance of the skate bowl. The Council has also considered accessibility within the park, including access through the entrance gates.
The facilities are reviewed regularly and maintenance or improvement works are commissioned where required. Recent Council records show that repairs to play equipment have continued to form part of the Council’s work, alongside proposals for further work to the play area.
